ANALYSIS OF MUSCLE MASS FORMATION
Abstract
Building muscle mass is not just a physical endeavor, but also an investment in health and well-being. Strong muscles provide vital support to the musculoskeletal system, reduce the risk of injury, and fight osteoporosis, especially in the elderly. In addition to the physical benefits, building muscle mass affects the body's metabolism, burning more calories, supporting weight management and improving functional strength. Mental health aspects have also been shown to benefit, with physical exercise stimulating the release of happy hormones. Muscle mass building also plays a role in the prevention of type 2 diabetes by improving insulin sensitivity. This study used a qualitative method with document review to gain in-depth insights from various sources, including scientific journals and related websites. The conclusion of this review provides a comprehensive understanding of muscle mass building strategies and differences between men and women. It is hoped that this research will make a valuable contribution to understanding and practice in efforts to improve health and well-being through muscle mass building.
