Abstract

Background. This research is motivated by the influence of the Self Check style learning method on the accuracy of volleyball top passing at SMPN 1 Pulau Merbau, Teluk Ketapang Village, Merbau Island District. In upper passing, students have yet to show maximum results and lack upper death, so they often fail to pass hard and precisely.

Method. This type of research is a pseudo experiment, namely the effect of the Self Check style learning method on the accuracy of the upper pass of volleyball SMPN 1 Pulau Merbau Teluk Ketapang Village, Merbau Island Distric.

Subject. The number in the study were all volleyball players SMPN 1 Pulau Merbau Teluk Ketapang Village, Merbau Island District—samples were taken 15 girls.

Result. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Self Check style learning method on the accuracy of volleyball top passing at SMPN 1 Merbau Island, Teluk Ketapang Village, Merbau Island District, where the initial test with an average of 48.33 in the pre-test increased by 6 to 54.33 in the post-test.
