PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BILLIARD MINI UNTUK MENGENAL WARNA PADA SISWA AUTIS
Abstract
Autistic students have low ability to recognize colors. This is due to the cognitive barriers that autistic students have. In addition, the lack of learning media used is also one of the contributing factors. This study aims to overcome the low ability to recognize colors in autistic students at SLB Sehati Karimun by developing a product, namely mini billiards, which will be tested for feasibility from the aspect of validity and user response. The selection of research subjects was based on the results of the ability to recognize lower colors using a purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were students with autism at SLB Sehati Karimun, totaling 4 people. The type of research used by the researcher is Research and Development / R&D (Research and Development). This study uses a Four-D Thiagarajan research design which is supported by a quantitative approach. Based on the validity test from several experts obtained the results; (1) Media experts with an average score of 85.8% in the valid category (2) Material experts with an average score of 94% in the very valid category. The test results from the user's response, namely the teacher 96% with a very valid category, and the student user response obtained an average score of 94% with a very valid category. and it can be concluded that the research on the development of mini billiards media to recognize color for autistic students at SLB Sehati Karimun is feasible to use from the aspect of validity, user response and trial.
