Abstract

In the academic field, especially reading, there are children who have reading abilities below the average of their peers. These children include children who have difficulty learning to read. Children who have difficulty learning to read are part of children who have specific learning difficulties. Children who have specific learning difficulties are described by delays or deviations in basic academic matters such as counting, reading, spelling, writing, as well as speech and language delays. In general, the factors that cause learning difficulties can be concluded that they are caused by internal factors which include body/physical constitutional factors and psychological factors. Influential external factors include natural factors and social factors. individual. Dyslexia is not a disease, but a disorder in the process of learning to read and write, even though children with dyslexia have normal thinking. This can happen and can be seen when a child has difficulty spelling, it is difficult to distinguish letters that have the same shape as the letters: b/d, p/q, w/m, n/u and also numbers (Habibi, 2015; Tamasse , 2017).
