TEACHER WORK DISCIPLINE IN THE PANDEMI ERA
Abstract
Changes in work models due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak have had a major impact on the world of education. The approach in this study uses quantitative research with the aim of seeing how leadership and compensation intersect with teacher work discipline in the pandemic era. All high school teachers in Semarang City are the population in this study. The research sample is 95 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire whose scores were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used classical assumption test and hypothesis test through multiple regression analysis technique with SPSS software. The results of the study show that compensation has a significant positive effect on work discipline. However, the leadership variable found no significant effect on teacher work discipline in the pandemic era.
