HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF TANJUNG BALAI KARIMUN CLASS II PORT HEALTH OFFICE
Abstract
Organizational goals can be achieved with the role of human resources. The implementation of government and development to achieve good governance cannot be separated from the role of the state civil apparatus, including in the KKP class II TBK and the Ministry of Health in general. In this research the author took a qualitative approach, the conclusion obtained are: 1).The importance of preparing human resource management from the aspects of occupational health and safety to increase productivity in the office environment. There is a need for employees planning and development to ensure that each team member can work professionally according to their competence. Efforts to develop employee competency are focused through competency-based education and training. It is hoped that it can be create more competent and reliable human resources, with a positive impact on overall organizational performance; 2). Personnel information system management is implemented through online applications, such as personnel management information system and personnel archive application. Independent data updates are part of data renewal initiatives to achieve accuracy, integrity and good quality. In 2023, the organization and human resources bureau plans PDM activities for employee with 100% completion. Services award, honors, and awards are given in the form of the Satyalancana Karya Satya Awards to employee who have been loyal and served for 10, 20 or 30 years. This reflects the appreciation of employees’ dedication to Pancasila, UUD 1945, as well as the state and government; 3). Employee discipline is considered crucially in supporting the smooth implementation of work in the organization. Good discipline reflects responsibility for tasks, encourage work enthusiasm, and the key to success organization in achieving its goals. KKP class I TBK emphasize its commitment to discipline by implementing regulations regarding working days and hours in accordance to provisions of PP 2021. Management of employee attendance and uses fingerprints technology to ensure data can be retrieved in real-time and recapped monthly.
