THREE KEY PILLARS OF FOREIGN COMAPNIES EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
Abstract
This study aims to explore the relationship between innovativeness, intrinsic motivation, employee engagement, and employee performance in the context of foreign companies. The literature search was conducted through academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and EBSCO using a combination of keywords such as "innovativeness," "intrinsic motivation," "employee engagement," and "foreign company." A total of 87 studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in this literature review. The results of the literature review showed that innovativeness and intrinsic motivation are the three main pillars that contribute significantly to improving the performance of foreign company employees. In addition, the study also revealed the interaction between the four main variables in improving employee performance. Further research is needed, especially using qualitative methods and case studies, to understand in depth how contextual factors such as organizational culture, human resource management practices, and individual employee characteristics can influence the relationship and interaction between these four variables in different foreign company contexts.
