IMRPOVING ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILL THROUGH “FUN & COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH METHOD” OF FIRST SEMESTER OF THE FACULTY OF LAW STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITY OF RIAU KEPULAUAN

Abstract

This activity was aimed to improve speaking skill of the first semester students of the Faculty of law, University of Riau Kepulauan. This activity was involved 8 students and three lecturers, who guided the students dared to speak English freely. In this activity, one lecturer as the tutor of the activity, the two others were observer and motivator. The tutor was sent from English Education Program Study to prepare the material and teach as well, while the two lecturers were from the faculty of law to observe and to motivate the students to speak up in this activity. S. By using “Fun and Communicative” method to prepare the students’ English speaking skill to fulfill their future work requirement of international language mastery. This activity showed the significant result in improving English speaking skill of the first students of the Faculty of law, University of Riau Kepulauan. This has contributed to the students in preparing their future more brightly.
