Abstract

Bengpuspenerbad is a unit under Puspenerbad which has the task of carrying out aircraft inspections carried out by heavy maintenance in accordance with maintenance allocation provisions. The Bell 412 helicopter is a propeller aircraft which is mostly used by the Indonesian Army in Indonesia to carry out the main tasks of the Indonesian Army in various operational fields. To carry out maximum Bell 412 helicopter operations, it must be accompanied by appropriate aircraft maintenance. Bell 412 helicopter maintenance activities, periodically inspected for 5 years, experienced problems within the Indonesian Army where Bengpuspenerbad was not able to carry out these maintenance activities independently. The aim of this research is to identify the obstacles and efforts that must be implemented so that Bengpuspenerbad can carry out Bell 412 maintenance independently in the ranks of the Indonesian Army.
