Author Guideline
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Purnama Berazam (PUBER) must be original works that have not been previously published or are under consideration by another journal. Each submission must demonstrate scientific rigor, relevance to the field of nutrition, and significance for public health or clinical practice. Manuscripts must be prepared in English or Indonesian using clear, concise language and correct grammar. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript has been carefully proofread and is free from typographical or linguistic errors before submission.
The manuscript length should range from seven (7) to twenty (20) pages, depending on the type and scope of the research. Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.docx/.doc) on A4-sized paper (21 × 29.7 cm) with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. The text must be written in Calibri font, using bold 16-point type for the title and 12-point type with 1.5 line spacing for the main text. The main text must be fully justified. Latin or scientific names must be italicized. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and include descriptive titles and sources, if applicable.
A complete research article must be organized into the following sections:
Title: Concise, informative, and accurately reflecting the content of the study.
Author Information: Include full names, institutional affiliations, and corresponding author details (name and email address).
Abstract: A 200–250 word summary covering the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: Three to six relevant terms listed alphabetically.
Introduction / Background: Present the research problem, rationale, and a brief review of relevant literature.
Methods: Describe the research design, population, sampling techniques, data collection, and analysis methods.
Results: Present findings clearly, supported by tables and figures where appropriate.
Discussion: Interpret the findings in relation to existing literature and explain their scientific or practical implications.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and provide relevant recommendations.
References: List all cited sources following the Vancouver Style format. All references must follow the Vancouver citation style, with in-text citations numbered sequentially in parentheses (e.g., (1), (2–4)). The reference list must correspond to these citation numbers and include only relevant and current sources, preferably published within the last ten years.
As part of the journal’s commitment to academic integrity, all manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using specialized detection software. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected by the editorial board. Authors are encouraged to follow these guidelines carefully to ensure that their manuscripts meet the publication standards of Jurnal Purnama Berazam (PUBER).
